A University of Maryland poll taken six months after the Iraq invasion demonstrated that Fox News viewers were more ignorant about world affairs than any other category of news consumers, but also had a stronger belief than anyone else in how well informed they were.

Do you have a problem with the specific poll referenced above, or just polling-driven studies in general?

The summary page doesn't pick on FOX. The only broadcast news outlet that looks good here is NPR.
Just to clarify: The paragraph paraphrasing the poll comes from a newspaper article. It's linked to the word "birthday", which I wrote, along with the post's title.
As for my opinion: I have no doubt that people who get their news mainly from TV in general and FOX in particular are more misinformed that people who get it from newspapers or public radio. I watch FOX and CNN. I think they're crap.
