This week's column is about the deteriorating relationship between the U.S. and Pakistan.
A couple of weeks ago, John Negroponte caused a major diplomatic stink between the United States and Pakistan. He did it by doing the most undiplomatic thing an American government official could do to Pakistan, short of opening a HoneyBaked Ham franchise in Islamabad or spray-painting "cricket is 4 fags" on the presidential palace.

I had NPR on while getting ready this morning. Mostly coverage about Iraq, Iran, global warming. Didn't hear anything about guerrilla marketers, which is as it should be.
I also watched a recent Frontline about how the Taliban has managed a resurgence in Afghanistan. It seems Musharraf can only be trusted to protect his own interests.
Huh? Musharraf is supposed to be in Atlanta, watching out for my ass 'cause I know Laura Mallory's after it now.
